Below are the descriptions for the clips.
"Struggle at the South Pole" (Part 1 of 4)
Like in the original Transformers series' episode "Fire in the Sky",
the Destrons are trying to get energy from a frigid area again,
and like in "The Core", they are drilling into the planet there.
Technical details:
The source is a second-generation videotape, though of a much better quality than the Masterforce clips. The full-screen view looks great at 1280X1024 resolution on my monitor, helped by the sharpen filter I applied to the video.
Description of the events in the video:
After a commerical break/eye-catch with Star Saber is the preview. Liokaiser demonstrates his invisibility ability and gives Galaxy Shuttle one mighty cut and knocks away Star Saber. Saber in his smaller robot form glides around on his jet booster as he battles Deszaras, who manages to wrap a chain around Star Saber's neck but was thrown off before Star Saber swings an energy blast at him. The title for the episode then shows up.
A blizzard washes over a barren snowy landscape with an icy river, and several energetic flashes cackling over the hills to create avalanches. As the narrator begins, the view shifts to an outpost in which some scientists noted some abnormalities. The shaking ground and the outpost is soon covered by the moving rocks and ice.
Much farther away a city has been flooded by the rising sea level. Cybertron Multiforce member Wingwaver (a combiner of Wing and Waver) walks into view, carrying some humans. Fellow members Dashtacker (a combiner of Dash and Tacker) and Machtackle (a combiner of Mach and Tackle) then show up doing the same thing. They carry the humans to higher land and then talked among themselves about the damage. Wingwaver then gets a call and identifies himself. The call is from Star Saber asking for a report, to whom Wingwaver says, "Hai, Soushireikan (Yes, leader/Prime)" before giving it. Star Saber then said the damage might not be natural, which Wingwaver acknowledges before he closes the channel.
The scene then changes to the Cybertron base, in which some human kids are studying, including the soon-to-be-bored Jan at the far right. When Rescue Patrol Micromaster Holi (Stakeout) shows up, the kids wanted him to play with them, but Holi declines. He did say "Soushireikan" has a mission. Hearing the mission, one of the kids reveals that he is the son of one of the scientists seen earlier, which surprises the others. The scene changes again to Star Saber and Galaxy Shuttle in vehicle modes, flying off to the tundra, as the narrator apparently says that Road Caesar still needs repair from damage in the previous episode. Inside Galaxy Shuttle are the Micromasters Boater (Seawatch) and Holi, and Jan and his friend, who prays that his father is all right. The clip ends with the faction symbol change.
"Struggle at the South Pole" (Part 2 of 4)
The Multiforce appear and combine to form Landcross, but Liokaiser
overwhelms him with his brand-new ability, invisibility.

Description of the events in the video:
The blizzard stops for a while as the view moves over to the Destron ship and base Thunder Arrow, near which is a drill draining energy from underground and sending it up to the ship to be processed into energon cubes. Destron leader Deszaras smiles atop his throne, with his Breastforce members all in front of him below. Hellbat is gleeful at the energy collected, referring to Deszaras as "Taitei-sama (Emperor)". Leozack uses the same name referral. Apparently Hellbat becomes annoying enough for other member, Guyhawk, to whack him with a rod, for which Hellbat says "Gomen nasai (I'm really sorry)" while Guyhawk looks pleased with himself.
In the distance from the base is one of the scientists, who returns to the others taking refuge in a cave and reports that the Destrons are behind this, to their surprise. Just then they hear sounds from the skies from Multiforce individuals Wing (the jet) and Mach (the shuttle), and try to call out to them.
The two Cybertrons probably didn't hear them, transforming and landing outside Thunder Arrow as the Breastforce come out and merge into Liokaiser. The two, about half the size of their usual combination as pairs as seen earlier, are overwhelmed by the giant onrushing Destron. Wing tries to knock him down, but Liokaiser kicks him away and summons his weapon, preparing to finish them off.
Luckily for the two, the other Multiforce members, pulled over the water by the hovercraft Waver, arrive and blast Liokaiser simultaneously, knocking him down so they can combine with the two to form Landcross ("Transform! Gattai (Combine), Landcross!"). Liokaiser chuckles at Landcross' challenge and turns invisible (outlined in purple lines for the viewers). Surprised by this new trick, Landcross is punched mercilessly multiple times, eventually landing near the drill. Liokaiser walks up, with his footprints visible, and tries to leap feet-first onto the dodging Cybertron as the commercial break with Deszaras appears.
"Struggle at the South Pole" (Part 3 of 4)
Splitting up, the Cybertron Multiforce tries a trick which stops Liokaiser
only temporarily before the Destron gets the upper hand again. Even
the arriving Star Saber and Galaxy Shuttle couldn't stop Liokaiser,
and if that isn't enough, Deszaras then shows up at the very end of the
clip.

Description of the events in the video:
After a commercial break with the Dinoforce, Landcross has already split up, with Wing and Mach extending an energon rope between them to pick up Liokaiser, using his footprints for the location, and slam him into the drill's machinery. The energy bolts from this rip up the ice around the scientists, sending them off on an ice floe. Landcross is once again formed, but Liokaiser isn't fazed at all. Still invisible, he dishes out more punches, sending the Cybertron slamming to the ground as Liokaiser walks up.
A blast from above announces the arrival of Star Saber, to whom Landcross weakly says "Soushireikan (leader/Prime)." After transforming ("Transform! Brain set!" (to form his face) "Battle up!" (to bring down his helmet for his even larger robot form) "Saber blade!" (to pull out his sword from his jet booster)), Star Saber challenges the now visible Liokaiser. The Destron summons his weapon and fires from it Jargua's four red missiles, which explode when Star Saber tries to block them with his sword. Star Saber blocks the energy blasts fired next and moves closer, with Liokaiser's eyes glowing red.
The Cybertron apparently destroys the Destron with a swing of his sword. However, almost simultaneously Drillhorn leaps out of the ground and drills into Star Saber's left leg, the three jets Hellbat, Guyhawk, and Leozack fire into his back from above, and Killbison (the tank) and Jargua (the dune buggy) roll up and just missed firing into his front. The Breastforce then merge into Liokaiser again ("Gattai (Combine)! Liokaiser!").
Still down, Landcross calls out "Soushireikan" again as his leader grunts in pain, picking up his dropped sword. Liokaiser gloats that the attack he has just used is the "Battle Explosion", a brand-new technique described as his ultimate attack in his figure's tech specs in which he splits up quickly to surround and attack Star Saber. The Cybertron then swings his sword to unleash a wide energy blast slamming the Destron into the ground. Galaxy Shuttle then arrives with the two humans and two Micromasters and transforms. Jan's friend tells "Star Saber-san" (a polite way of referring to elders in Japanese) about his scientist father, while Galaxy Shuttle acknowledges Star Saber's order to look after Landcross.
Liokaiser draws upon his nunchuk with its ring of spikes at its end and attacks, but Star Saber avoids and blocks the attacks. While Galaxy Shuttle aids Landcross, the other Cybertrons find the scientists out over an ice floe over the water. Boater transforms and carries Jan and the kid along to it. Liokaiser presses on, with Star Saber tripping and falling backwards when he steps into a hole in the ice. Just as the Destron is about to deliver a blow, the large Galaxy Shuttle moves in between them, challenging him. Liokaiser then turns invisible and makes one mighty slash across the surprised Galaxy Shuttle's chest, knocking him down. "Galaxy Shuttle!" cries out Star Saber, just before he himself was punched down onto the ground. The Destron turns visible again, and if things aren't bad enough already, Deszaras then shows up. ^.^
Animation blooper note: Right after Star Saber trips and falls over a small hole in the ice, Liokaiser's right and left legs are switched from where they should be (about 4 minutes 25 seconds into the video). That blooper only lasts a few seconds before Galaxy Shuttle runs up to challenge him.
"Struggle at the South Pole" (Part 4 of 4)
Deszaras actually wants a personal battle with Star Saber, a demand to which
Liokaiser reluctantly agrees. The Cybertrons eventually triumph and rescue
the humans stationed in the area, but the Destrons escape with the energy.

Description of the events in the video:
Deszaras wants a one-on-one battle with Star Saber. Liokaiser protests this, but relents when his leader shows displeasure at the interference, saying he will let "Taitei-sama (Emperor)" have his wish. Star Saber then transforms and flies away, with Deszaras doing the same and pursuing. Liokaiser stays behind talking to himself as Deszaras tries to blast the Cybertron Brainmaster.
Boater continues on his way to the ice floe with Jan and his friend on board. The humans call out to each other, with the friend seeing that his scientist father is all right. Just then Deszaras finally scores a hit, sending Star Saber plummeting into the water with the large dragon following. The Cybertron escapes, hiding behind a rock and knocking Deszaras into some ice with his blasts when he appears. The dragon navigates around the ice, flies back into the air with the superjet giving chase, and stops to face off against the Cybertron and to deploy his sharp gleaming Wing Cutters.
To the tune of the Victory theme song in the background, Star Saber then transforms into his smaller robot form, uses his jet booster as a flying battle sled, and wields his sword. Their weapons block each other on their first two passes at each other, but Star Saber hits the dragon in the rear right after being blocked the third time, sending the screaming Destron down transforming to the ground. The Cybertron then combines with his booster to form his larger robot form and faces off against Deszaras again.
Meanwhile, with his large wound still generating sparks, Galaxy Shuttle crawls up into range of the Destrons' drilling machinery. Deszaras summons his spiked ball on a chain and swings it at Star Saber, who blocks it and swings his sword in. Unfortunately he overextends himself, and finds himself being choked by the chain. Straining against it, he yanks Deszaras over his head crashing into the ground and then swings an energy arc from his sword at him, sending Deszaras up and falling into the ice again as the spectator Liokaiser makes a remark. The fight ends when Galaxy Shuttle fires on and destroys the drill, forcing Deszaras and Liokaiser to return to their ship and escape with the energy already collected.
After the faction symbol change is the conclusion, with Jan's friend reunited with his father and the Micromasters having a laugh at Jan's sudden realization that he has to go back to doing his homework again. The episode ends with the narrator calling on Star Saber to do his best ("Gambatte Star Saber!").
After the commercial break with Jan and Holi is the preview for the next episode. Killbison's turrets poke out of the desert sands firing at Galaxy Shuttle, with fellow Destron Breastforce member Drillhorn also appearing. The shuttle crash-lands under heavy fire. An injured Blacker is seen next held by fellow Cybertron Brainmaster Laster, with an earlier scene showing next of Blacker exitting the shuttle to transform and roll out, and of the Cybertron Greatshot (recolored and remolded Sixshot) in his armored car mode. Blacker then comes under fire in his robot mode, and is seen rushing toward the right as the next episode's title appears. Deszaras and Star Saber have another fight, and an arrow flies around in a loop into Greatshot's right arm.
