"Gattai (Combine)! Liokaiser" (Part 1 of 4)
Fearful of being dropped from the team by the others, Hellbat decides to go off
and dissuade a Breastforce member, Deathcobra, from joining the team.
Technical details:
The source is a second-generation videotape, though of a much better quality than the Masterforce clips. The full-screen view looks great at 1280X1024 resolution on my monitor, helped by the sharpen filter I applied to the video.
Description of the events in the video:
After a commercial break with Star Saber is a preview of the episode. In it is a short snippet of a battle between Star Saber and the Breastforce, including the formation of Liokaiser, and then the title, "Gattai! Liokaiser".
The episode finally begins. The ship at the base of the mountains is Thunder Arrow (Skystalker), a Destron base. Inside Guyhawk (the pinkish-red TF, aka Gaihawk) is reunited with the rest of the Breastforce after having been rescued from a prison on the Micromaster homeworld. All but one, Hellbat, who is kept out. Despite this, he goes to a station and finds a way to listen in on the others' conversation. Leozack (the light blue TF, aka Leozak) is speaking about replacing Hellbat, whom he doesn't like or trust, with another Breastforce member, Deathcobra. Deszaras then chimes in to ask on their progress from Leozack, who assures him that everything is going well.
Meanwhile, Star Saber is talking with another Cybertron, wondering about the Destrons' plans. He then tells Holi (the police car TF), who is carrying Jan and is accompanied by Clipper (the red car and female TF), to keep an eye out for Destrons.
Back at Thunder Arrow, surrounded by illusions of laughing teammates, Hellbat is frightened by the thought of no longer being part of the Breastforce team. Suddenly he thinks of trying to convince Deathcobra not to join. A scene change (similar to the original Transformers series' logo change sequence) ends this clip.

Botching his plan to dissuade Deathcobra from joining the team by killing him
accidentally, Hellbat pins the blame on the Cybertrons. Retaliating, the
Breastforce attack Holi and Clipper, who had been tracking Hellbat. Star
Saber flies off to rescue the two.

Description of the events in the video:
After a short conversation between Holi and Clipper, Jan notices Hellbat flying overhead. They followed him.
Hellbat finds Deathcobra, and they transform. Hellbat talks to him, but Deathcobra refuses to follow him. They get into a scuffle, with Deathcobra receiving a blow to his chest before Holi and Clipper arrive. Cowering behind a boulder, Hellbat frantically fires back at the attacking Deathcobra and accidentally kills him. As Hellbat looks over the corpse and glances around, he notices the two Cybertrons. Coming up with a plan, he transforms and flies off.
Back at base, where the other Breastforce members are waiting for Deathcobra to show up, Hellbat says that Deathcobra has been ambushed by the Cybertrons. The rest of the Breastforce plan to make the Cybertrons pay.
Meanwhile, the Cybertrons are examining Deathcobra and reporting back to Star Saber. Unfortunately, the Breastforce arrive to find them there and attack. Star Saber then goes off to rescue them, shouting, "Transform! Set, take off!" as the commercial break with Deszaras appears.

Arriving just in time, Star Saber demonstrates his skills as a fighter
against the Breastforce.

Description of the events in the video:
After a commercial break with the Dinoforce, the episode continues with the firefight between the Breastforce and the Cybertrons Holi, Clipper, and Jan. Leozack goes up to Deathcobra's corpse, mourning him, but is brought back to his senses when Clipper's shots whizs by him. When Clipper is hit, Holi goes over to her, narrowly missing being wiped out with the boulder he was hiding behind. The Breastforce then moves in, with Guyhawk preparing to kill them.
Just as Guyhawk is about to fire, his weapon is knocked out of his hands by a blast from Star Saber, who strafes the area to drive the Breastforce away while he transforms ("Transform! Brain set"). Holi said, "Soushireikan!" (which means "leader", or "Prime" if you want to). After asking Holi if they are all right ("Daijobu, Holi?"), he tells them all to get away on his jet booster.
Star Saber then confronts the Breastforce. They throw their pikes, surrounding him with them in an energy field, but he breaks out using the sword which he summoned from his jet mode's nosecone. After stunning Leozack, Star Saber then slices out a trench into which Killbison (the orange TF) and Drillhorn (the blue-violet TF) stumble. When Jargua (the black and white TF) avoids the trench by using his pike as a pole vault, Star Saber cuts the pike out from under him and sends him crashing at Leozack's feet. Leozack and then Hellbat call out "Breast attack!" to send their animal partners (who form their chests) after him, to no avail. As Star Saber's sword gleams in the light, the other Cybertrons show their admiration of his skill.
"Gattai (Combine)! Liokaiser" (Part 4 of 4)
The combined form of the six Breastforce members, Liokaiser appears for the
very first time and beats up Star Saber until God Ginrai arrives to help him.

Description of the events in the video:
Leozack has something in mind to counter Star Saber: "Gattai, Liokaiser!" As the smaller Cybertrons show their surprise, Liokaiser stands with a giant pike in his fists, his name at the bottom of the screen. Dodging Liokaiser's spear, Star Saber combines with his jet booster to form his larger robot form: "Transform! Battle up!"
Now the fight really begins. Star Saber tries to knock Liokaiser down with his sword, but couldn't and is knocked onto his back. Liokaiser then raises his weapon, which sprouts a deadly spiked ring which he throws at Star Saber. He deflects it, but it returns and slices into his back, sending him sprawling face down. Liokaiser tries to spear him again. Though Star Saber blocks it with his left arm, Liokaiser twists the pike around in it and laughed.
The other Cybertrons are worried. "Soushireikan!" yells Jan. Holi tells Clipper that she should go for help, and tells Jan to go with her. When Jan asks if they will be all right, Holi tells him that he isn't sure, but that he is going to try to help Star Saber. Clipper transforms and drives off with Jan inside.
Star Saber has thrown off the pike. As Liokaiser prepares another spiked ring, he notices Clipper escaping and throws the ring at her, but it misses her narrowly. Star Saber tries to strike him with his sword while the gestalt is distracted, but the sword is knocked away. Holi runs up, shouting "Soushireikan!" while he fires at Liokaiser. Unfortunately, the blasts are deflected by Liokaiser's left palm back at Holi, who goes down. As Star Saber rushes over to check on Holi, Liokaiser throws a spiked ring at him, hitting him in the back again and sending him crashing in front of Holi. Liokaiser throws another spiked ring, but this time the spikes fire off the ring. Star Saber stands up to protect Holi, and is blasted in the chest by those spikes. As Holi cowers behind his leader's obviously-cracking back, Star Saber tells him to get away, which he does.
Liokaiser tries to kick him with his left leg, but Star Saber holds it up and throws him down. As Star Saber stands up to jump over and fetch his sword, the Victory theme begins. He blocks Liokaiser's nunchuks, and jumps out of the way of Liokaiser's own spiked ring when it returns, apparently thinking it would hit Liokaiser. Unfortunately it doesn't, returning instead to the adaptable pike, with Liokaiser himself apparently saying such a trick is useless. He knocks back Star Saber, separating him from his sword. The Destron then jumps over to kick the sword away from reach and summons his blaster, saying "Shi-ne" ("Die") as he aims the blaster at Star Saber's head.
Just then God Ginrai shows up and pulls Liokaiser away, bringing him over his head onto the ground from behind. God Ginrai then goes over to stand in front of Star Saber, but Liokaiser then kicks and punches the former Cybertron leader twice to the ground before summoning his blaster again to finish him off. Star Saber jumps up to hold Liokaiser from behind while God Ginrai gives the gestalt six quick punches to drive him to the ground. As Liokaiser gets up, he splits up and escapes. Star Saber wants to go after the Breastforce, but couldn't, so he is leaning against God Ginrai as they walk back to Holi, to whom Clipper and Jan run up when they return. Holi says he's okay, but isn't sure about Star Saber. The episode ends ominously with the greater threat that the Breastforce posed as Liokaiser as the commercial break with Jan and Holi appears.
Next is a preview for the next episode, featuring clips of the Destron leader Deszaras and his spiked chain-ball with a hidden blade within from the very first episode, along with some recap of Liokaiser's scenes from this episode.
