Below are the descriptions for the clips.
Soundblaster: The resurrection of Soundwave
Twincast: The resurrection of Broadcast (Blaster)
Soundblaster: The resurrection of Soundwave
Soundwave is resurrected in a new body as Soundblaster.
Technical details:
The source is a videotape from the Japanese Headmasters laserdisk, so its video quality is pretty good. I applied a sharpen filter to it, so it looks great even in full-screen mode if you want. Double-size mode is magnificent! ^_^
Description of the events in the video:
The video clip opens with a scene of the planet Jollo, where the Destrons have an outpost. Inside a room playing on a monitor are schematics of Soundwave's planned new body as his colorless head from his original body rests nearby. A review of how he lost his body two episodes ago in "The Mystery of Planet Master" then follows explaining the situation (see here to go to the entry with the entire clip and description of the fight).
Soundwave's head is lowered onto his new body, also colorless, and then bathed in something like electricity. The entire process is watched over by his cassette Transformers Buzzsaw, Laserbeak, Rumble, Ravage, Frenzy, and Ratbat. As the process ends, his body gains color, though different than Soundwave's. The narrator announces that Soundwave has been powered up into Soundblaster before his name appears on screen under his head's red-glowing eyes.
After walking down the steps, his words evoke satisfaction from his cassette TFs, who followed Ratbat's call to enter Soundblaster. The video ends as Soundblaster places his right hand over his chest and says something praising his cassettes.
Twincast: The resurrection of Broadcast (Blaster)
Broadcast (also known as Blaster) is brought back in a completely
new body as Twincast.
Technical details:
The source is a videotape from the Japanese Headmasters laserdisk, so its video quality is pretty good. I applied a sharpen filter to it, so it looks great even in full-screen mode if you want. Double-size mode is magnificent! ^_^
Description of the events in the video:
The video opens with an outside scene of Autobot City, with the focus shifting to Fortress Maximus in his base mode. Inside it Fortress (aka Cerebros) is announcing that he is ready to begin the operation to resurrect Broadcast as Twincast. The other four Cybertron Headmasters, Rodimus Convoy (aka Rodimus Prime), Arcee, and Wheelie are in the back behind Daniel and the four Cybertron Cassettebots, who are about to witness the process occurring in the enclosed tube in front of them all. Rewind and Eject with Hardhead behind them appear next, followed by Amhorn (aka Ramhorn) and Steeljaw.
From the flood of electricity inside the tube, a figure solidifies and forms within it, eliciting murmurs from the crowd. The sounds become cheers when the mostly blue figure begins walking down the steps from it to Rodimus, who clasps his hands in greeting. The camera pans across him as the narrator introduces him, with his new name appearing onscreen. Twincast then calls for the Cassettebots to return, which they do as the video ends.
